Mining Sorting Structure
Parramatta Warehouse
The Hard Bakka rigging crew pre-assembled the entire SLN Mining Sorting structure and its auxiliary components, including onsite site pipe welding, in preparation for the Tomra Open Day during which the structure was exhibited to potential clients before being dismantled and shipped to New Caledonia. The installation was seamless and concluded on time, with outstanding precision and attention to detail. The SLN Mining Sorting Structure is a key component of the Société Le Nickel (SLN) operations in New Caledonia, focused on improving the ore’s grade by removing waste materials before further processing. This is done using advanced sorting machinery and auxiliary components like the ore bins, wash screens, conveyor belts and other items, including crushers and vibratory grids, which separate valuable nickel ore from sterile materials. The sorted ore is then sent to processing facilities, enhancing operational efficiency and sustainability.
