Goulbourne - Gecko Cleantech Warehouse
Gecko Cleantech Warehouse – Industrial Rigging for Product Storage Facility
Hard Bakka Rigging was contracted to complete the full structural steel erection for the Gecko Cleantech Warehouse in Goulburn, NSW. This industrial project consisted of 36 tonnes of steel and over 2,000 linear metres of roof purlins and girts—forming the backbone of a purpose-built facility for product storage and commercial distribution.
Our expert rigging crew executed the project within three weeks, utilising a combination of heavy lifting and access equipment, including a 30T mobile crane, elevated work platforms (EWPs), and telehandlers. The warehouse was designed to support high-volume inventory and logistical operations, making precise placement and alignment of steel members critical to the structure’s load-bearing capabilities.
Despite the large volume of materials and limited installation timeframe, our team ensured the project was completed on time, on budget, and with zero safety incidents. Careful planning was conducted prior to mobilisation, including crane lift studies, ground assessments, and load management strategies. These measures allowed us to streamline operations, maintain a safe worksite, and minimise disruptions to neighbouring industrial activities.
This project demonstrates Hard Bakka Rigging’s ability to deliver efficient, compliant rigging solutions for large-scale industrial builds. From lifting and staging to on-site coordination and equipment handling, every aspect of the installation was executed to the highest safety and quality standards.
With extensive experience in steel erection and warehouse construction support, Hard Bakka Rigging is a preferred partner for commercial and industrial developments across regional NSW and metropolitan Sydney. Our work on the Gecko Cleantech Warehouse is another example of how we deliver strength, precision, and reliability—every step of the way.
